Why I’m doing this
I’m Franco. I’m building an app for people who are tired of swiping.
We’ve spent a decade looking at images of each other. Faces, filters, angles, carefully curated. We optimize, we scroll, we match. And most of us — quietly — have stopped believing it leads anywhere real.
I want to make something different. Where the first thing you know about someone isn’t what they look like. It’s how they think. How they speak. What they care about. The shape of their voice when they tell a story.
Voice first. Story first. Presence first.
You connect by who someone is — not by how they look.
This round is part of that test. We’ll find out together if connection really can happen when you take the image out of the way.
If it does, I’ll build the rest.
Round three
This has happened twice before.
Many of the people in this round were in the last one. They came back on their own — nobody asked them to.
This round is shaped by what they told us.
And that’s all I’ll say before you’re in.
