Why I’m doing this
I’m Franco. I’m building an app for people who are tired of swiping.
We’ve spent a decade looking at images of each other. Faces, filters, angles, carefully curated. We optimize, we scroll, we match. And most of us — quietly — have stopped believing it leads anywhere real.
I want to make something different. Where the first thing you know about someone isn’t what they look like. It’s how they think. How they speak. What they care about. The shape of their voice when they tell a story.
Voice first. Story first. Presence first.
You connect by who someone is — not by how they look.
This round is part of that test. Voice notes, async — a few minutes per turn, on your own time, over a couple of weeks. We’ll find out together if connection really can happen when you take the image out of the way.
If it does, I’ll build the rest.
How it works
Once you’re in, we pair you anonymously with one other person.
You exchange short voice messages at your own pace — and listen to theirs whenever you want.
No photos until you both choose to share them — and only inside the chat that opens if you match.
Who’s invited
Internationals in Denmark, primarily.
Open to romance, friendship, or both — whatever your orientation.
We’re curating the group thoughtfully. Not everyone who applies will be selected.
